Thank you to all to attended the Kistler PTO Hoss's night on Oct. 7 or 8. We appreciate your help and support!!
Trunk or Treat night was well held on Thurs, Oct 22 from 6-7 pm. It was a perfect night! About 150 children visited the 13 cars set up in the parking lot. A panel of teachers did the judging this year and their votes went to Lacey Scott's and Katie Miller's families for first place with their haunted truck and second place went to Caylin Reeder's and Samantha Souders's families for their Wizard of Oz themed decoration in their van. Thank you to everyone who donated candy, brought their cars or attended. A BIG thank you goes out to Miss Tobie Miller, Mrs. Sally Steward and Mrs. Jamie Gearhart for volunteering to judge.
Kistler day at the movies was a great success! 266 people attending a special viewing of either Planet 51 or A Christmas Carol for only $3.50 per person (including popcorn and a small soda!). We are looking into holding another one after Christmas break to see Alvin and the Chipmunks 2: The Squeakquel. Thank you Clifton 5!!
Breakfast with Santa went very well. About 200 people came to enjoy a pancake breakfast, talk to Santa Claus and get a free book and candy cane. Thank you Title 1 Parent Involvement for help in sponsering this event. It is an annual favorite!!
Thank you to all who attended the second Hoss's Community nights on Dec. 8 or 9 or anyone who purchased a gift card. Your support is appriciated!
Santa Shop was nearly sold out again! Hope everyone enjoyed thier gifts that the children bought with love and thought!! Thank you to all the volunteers that helped out. We couldn't do it without you!!!
Mug on a Rug day was fabulous! Students enjoyed popcorn, a cup of hot chocolate and a movie (or 2 or 3) in their PJ's on their last day before Christmas vacation. Thank you to Sheetz, McDonald's and Appleby's (all of MU) for their donations of cups and lids! Thank you to everyone who helped prepare and serve the hot chocolate.
Another great day at the movies on Jan. 16 for Alvin and the Chipmunks the Squeakquel. 10:30 am show seated 149 people while the 4:00 pm show seated 208 people. AWESOME turnout!! Thank you Clifton 5 for helping out the Kistler families and making great memories. (The PTO does not profit from movie days, the discount that we are given is passed directly on to YOU! These days are purely for the enjoyment of the families). Thank you to all the parents that helped by collecting money, handing out popcorn and soda and helping with the seating!!
