Our second annual Trunk or Treat was a success (except for the weather). About 150 kids came through the parking lot of 20 decorated cars to recieve their treats before the rain shower hit at 7 pm, cutting the night short. People's choice parking spot went to Jody Fye and Erica Huffnagle and their children, Cheyenne Fye and Matarryn Huffnagle for their graveyard themed trunk. Second place went Terri Souders and Brandi Smith and their children Samantha Souders and Caylin Reeder for their prision themed trunk. Voting was close and everyone did a great job on decorating their cars! Thanks to everyone who participated!!
Popcicle with a soldier day was a big hit! Several retired, reserve and active members of the military or representives (wives) came in to the classrooms on Novemeber 10 and talked to the students and everyone enjoyed a popcicle treat. The students were very involved in the question and answer period. Each student then made a card or colored a picture to be sent to the Reserve Troop from the area who are training for Iraq. Everyone took a lot from the experience! Thank you to all those who gave their time and for everything you do and have done! GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
Santa Shop was held on Dec. 16&17, 2008. I hope everyone enjoyed the gifts that the students picked out with so much care and thought! We sold out of almost everything! THANK YOU to all the parents and students helped!!!! It would not be possible without all of you!

Snow tubing on Jan. 24 had 64 people braving the cold from Kistler Elementary! Great turnout! The weather could have been a little better, but that seems to be the theme with outdoor PTO events this year! bad weather! Everyone seemed to have a good time with our discounted passes in sprite of the cold, windy day!
Science Fair- Feb 23&24 had 45 students showing off their sciencific knowledge to the school. There were some very interesting displays about a huge variety of topics. All participants received a certificate for their efforts!

(Thanks Title 1 for buying the Easter bunny the books!). Thanks to all the parents that help to "hide" the eggs as well. We have kept the eggs so that this can be an annual event!

Super Fun Field Day was held on June 9 with an extra special attraction this year! Others were human knot, 3-legged race, big ball game, sponge race, frisbee toss, sponge toss, parachute game, tattoos, freeze pops, and musical hula hoops.
